About Ana Docoito-Nelson
A graduate of Westchester Community College with an associate of science in business marketing, Ana Docoito-Nelson worked early in her career as an executive assistant for court reporting company Elisa Dreier Reporting Corp. Along with providing administrative assistance for the president and marketing department, she contracted freelance reporters and coordinated the proper dissemination of depositions. Subsequently, Ana Docoito-Nelson served as a print production assistant for New York City-based marketing and graphic design firm Stan Adler Associates, where she worked with clients to determine their project demands, estimate costs, and relay updates throughout the production and distribution process.
Currently a property manager for Gramatan Management, Inc., in New Rochelle, New York, Ana Docoito-Nelson supervises all operations for a building administered by the company. Responsible for adding value to the property, she directs capital improvement projects, such as restoration of the facade and the replacement of roofing. She also interfaces regularly with a number of stakeholders, including the firm’s board of directors, contractors, real estate agents, and cooperative counsel. To ensure the safety of her residents and employees, she develops protocols for dealing with emergency situations on the premises.
Interested in health and wellness, Ms. Docoito-Nelson has completed 1,000 hours of holistic health practitioner training at the Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California. She previously worked as a licensed massage therapist for Preston Wynne Spa and has practiced both Hatha and Bikram yoga for more than a decade.
